When you generate your Chapter 13 plan, certain sections are automatically populated with data pulled directly from your case. This article explains exactly how each part of your plan is filled in, so you know how your case information needs to be entered for it to appear in the correct section of your plan.

§ 3 — Preconfirmation Adequate Protection Payments to Secured Creditors
This section lists all secured claims where the intent is not to surrender. The trustee uses this information to make adequate protection payments to secured creditors before the plan is confirmed.
§ 5 — Domestic Support Obligations
This section lists all domestic support obligation (DSO) claims where the treatment is to pay inside the plan.
§ 6 — Priority Claims (Excluding Domestic Support Obligations)
This section lists all priority claims that are not domestic support obligations.
For each claim, enter:
§ 7.1 — Request for Valuation of Secured Claims
This section lists all secured claims where the treatment is a § 506 cram-down. This section is only effective if § 1.1 is marked as included in the plan.
§ 7.2 — Secured Claims Excluded from Valuation Under § 506
This section lists all secured claims where the treatment is a 910-day claim — meaning the debt was incurred within 910 days before the petition date and is secured by a purchase money security interest in a motor vehicle, or within 1 year and secured by any other thing of value.
§ 7.3 — Curing Defaults and Maintaining Direct Payments on Long-Term Secured Debt
This section lists all secured claims where the treatment is to pay outside the plan, or outside the plan by a codebtor.
§ 9 — Surrendered Property
This section lists all claims where the intent is to surrender the collateral.
§ 10 — Executory Contracts, Including Unexpired Leases
This section lists all leases and executory contracts, along with whether each will be assumed or rejected.
