Question from SOFA line 10: Within 1 year before you filed for bankruptcy, was any of your property repossessed, foreclosed, garnished, attached, seized, or levied?

Where to enter this in NextChapter: Secured Claims or Unsecured Nonpriority Claims > Edit or Add New Claim > Add Action. If the action is not attached to a claim, go to Lawsuits > +New Lawsuit > Choose type of suit.

To add an action that involved the debtor’s property you can add the action while you are editing the claim.

Note: The action will only appear on line 10 of the SOFA unless the box Add to SOFA #9 (Lawsuit) is check. Checking this box will add the action on both lines 9 and 10 of the Statement of Financial Affairs.

If the action is not attached to a claim, you can go to Lawsuits > Edit or Add new Lawsuit > Choose type of suit.

(Keywords: repo, repossess, repossession, foreclose, foreclosure, foreclosures, garnish, garnishment, garnishments, seize, seizures, levies, attachment)
