From your firm dashboard, you can click All Cases.

This view will allow you to view your full case list in NextChapter. The search functionality will apply to all cases but you can also keep scrolling to generate more if you want more listed on your screen.

If you scroll to the right, you can see more columns pertaining to your cases including Debtor Address.

Sort: You can click on any of the column headers to sort alphabetically by that column. You can also sort by date on all event date columns.

Export: If you would like to export your case list, you can click the CSV icon. This list will export however you have it filtered and set up on this page. If you want to export a full list, you can come to the "All Cases" view and not add any sorting or filtering. This will export everything.

Columns: You can use the Columns tab to customize your case list to toggle column headers on and off. In this example, my case list will not include the Chapter or Case Closed.

Filter: Filter will allow you to filter your case list and include any archived cases. These are set filters so they will pull from all of your firm's statuses, attorneys, districts that you have cases in and chapters.

Search Cases: To search for a specific case, you can type that into the "Search by Name" field and then click to search.

Duplicating Cases: If you would like to duplicate a case, you can click on the checkbox next to the case and then click duplicate in the menu bar. This will create an exact duplicate of the case that you can then make any changes to.

Once the case is duplicated, the copy will appear at the top of the list.

You can View the case and go to Client Profile > Debtor Profile to edit the name, chapter, case number, etc if you want to make changes to help better distinguish between the duplicated cases.ย

Archiving Cases: If you would like to archive a case, it will remove it from all of your recent case lists. This will not delete anything and you may still un-archive it if needed.

If a case has been archived and you want to unarchive, you can make sure to "Include Archived" when you filter your case list and you can will check the box next to the case name and click the unarchive button in the menu bar.
