All of our Chapter 13 Plans have merge tags that pull information from your case directly into your plan. Each tag has a set of instructions, which describe the logic within the app, so that you can easily understand how this tag is populated. Below is a list of your plan specific tags with their corresponding instructions.

(Hint: These instructions are for the New Jersey Plan. If you have a district specific plan, you can search the Help Center for the article related to your plan.)

  • Line 3.a: [NJB.Priority.Claims.1]

    • List all priority claims The claims should start on row 4.

  • Line 3.b: [NJB.DSO.1]

    • List all Domestic Support Obligation claims

  • Line 4.a: [NJB.Mortgage.Arrs.1]

    • List all mortgages which are attached to the debtor’s residential property where the intent is NOT to surrender, which also has an arrearage amount due.

  • Line 4.b: [NJB.Mortgage.Arrs.2]

    • List all mortgages which are NOT attached to the debtor’s residential property where the intent is NOT to surrender, which also has an arrearage amount due.

  • Line 4.c: [NJB.Secured.910.1]

    • List all secured claims where the box is selected for “Excluded from 11 U.S.C. § 506 (910 Vehicle)”

  • Line 4.d: [NJB.Secured.506.1]

    • Secured claims where the intent is NOT to surrender, where the treatment is to pay inside the plan and where the secured balance is LESS than the balance from schedule D

  • Line 4.e: [NJB.Surrender.1]

    • Secured claims where the intent is to surrender.

  • Line 5.b: [NJB.Unsecured.Special.Treatment.1]

    • Unsecured claims with special treatment

  • Line 6: [NJB.Leases.1]

    • Insert all leases where the intent is to assume. Do not list the lease arrears as a separate claim entry.

  • Line 7.b: [NJB.Avoid]

    • Insert all claims where the intent is to avoid.

    ***Note: If you do not see tag/instructions for a specific line number, then the line likely requires a manual entry. You can manually enter data in the Plan Editor. Check out this article for tips on using the editor!
