We are happy to announce that the ability to re-pull credit reports on your own is now available within NextChapter! With this update, you will be able to pull new credit reports for reasons such as correcting debtor information (SSN, name, address, etc), adding a joint debtor to a report, and pulling a brand new report if the existing one is outdated.

How to re-pull a report to correct debtor information:

Step 1: In the Credit Report tab, click "Resubmit" at the bottom of the report to reset the report.

Step 2: Correct the debtor's information (name, DOB, etc) in Client Profile > Debtor Profile and/or Joint Profile. To correct the address, that can be done in Client Profile > Debtor Addresses and/or Joint Debtor Addresses.

Step 3: Revisit the Credit Report tab, enter the SSN and complete additional fields, then click "Request Credit Report".

How to add a joint debtor to a report:

Step 1: In the Credit Report tab, click "Resubmit" at the bottom of the report to reset the report.

Step 2: Make sure the case has been set to "Joint" in Client Profile > Filing Information > Type of Debtor and all joint debtor information (name, DOB, address, etc) has been entered in Client Profile > Joint Debtor Profile.

Step 3: Revisit the Credit Report tab, enter the SSNs and complete additional fields, then click "Request Credit Report".

(***Note: an additional charge will be incurred to add a joint debtor)

How to pull an updated report if the current one is outdated:

Step 1: In the Credit Report tab, click "Resubmit" at the bottom of the report to reset the report.

Step 2: If all debtor information remains the same, simply re-type the SSN, fill out all additional fields, and then click "Request Credit Report".

(***Note: Resubmitted reports that are greater than 30 days old are treated as new credit pulls and will incur the full fee)
