How to Downgrade Your Account in NextChapter

Steps to downgrade your account through NextChapter Account Settings

If you are an annual user and you would like to downgrade or cancel your plan, you can visit My Account Settings > Billing & Pricing Plans > Pricing Plans.

You can then click Choose This Plan on one of the Start options. Once selected, your annual account will expire upon its renewal date and switch to a pay per case plan.

Upon selecting a Start plan, you will be prompted to select a reason for the downgrade. Select your reason, then click Proceed.

***Note: once your plan is downgraded to a per case option, all of your case information remains untouched and accessible upon login at any time.

To downgrade an add-on such as a Chapter 13 Plan, go to My Account Settings > Chapter 13 Plans/Add-on Tools and click Do Not Renew.

You will then be prompted to select your reason to proceed with your downgrade.
