How to set up the disclaimer for NextChapter Payments and where it will show in the portal.

To set up the Payment Disclaimer for NextChapter Payments, go to My Account Settings > NextChapter Payments Integration and edit the Disclaimer text box highlighted below. This section is for informing clients that they cannot use a credit card to pay for their bankruptcy attorney's fees.

After you edit this section, remember to press save:

Once you create the invoice in the client's case, you have the option to send the client an invite to pay on the Payment Portal, and if you use MyChapter you can send an invite for MyChapter Client Portal using the second checkbox.

After clicking "send invoice" the client will receive an email that looks something like the below with a link to the portal.

The "My Payments" tab will have the invoice with the option to Pay Invoice.

Once "Pay Invoice" is clicked, the invoice will open and the Payment Disclaimer will be included.
