We now have pre-set document templates available for NextChapter Docs. You can go to My Account Settings > Doc Creator Templates to view and edit the templates.

You have the option to create a blank template, import a template, or copy and paste a template.

If you scroll down, you'll see the ability to edit a sample template. These are pre-set templates that you can easily use, and we will be adding more pre-set templates over time.

Once you click edit, you will be taken to the form, where the tags are already set up where the information needs to go. The tags populate information from each of your cases to make the form case specific. You are able to edit the template if needed in this section.

The tags are the grey blocks in the form, so for example in the section below the creditor list, current date, and attorney signature block would appear once you use the template in a case.

You have the ability to edit, duplicate, rename, or delete each template using the below highlighted icons.

After you set up your template(s), you can go into your case and go to Additional Documents > Doc Creator and access the templates from this dropdown:

Select your template from the dropdown and press the teal + button.

You can edit the document if needed, and once it is ready to go, you can press the export button or save.

Pressing the export button allows you to download or print the document to your computer. Hover over the document and you will see the download and print buttons:

Saving makes it so the form will be available in the Doc Creator tab. You have access to edit the form again after saving.

If you have any suggestions for templates to add, send us a chat or email support@nextchapterbk.com and we will send the request to our Operations team.
