When a lease is reported on the debtor's credit report, the claim can be moved to Schedule G and linked back to the asset if the vehicle is entered in Personal Property > Vehicles Leased. The asset and its description will populate in Executory Contracts when you go into that section to edit.
After the credit report is pulled, vehicle leases included in the report will import as a claim in the Unsecured Non-Priority claims section. If you go to that section and select 'Move to G,' the claim moves to the Executory Contracts section. Here, you can edit the lease and link it back to a vehicle if that vehicle is described in Personal Property > Vehicles Leased, saving data entry time.
To edit that lease in Executory Contracts, choose Type of Lease > Car. An asset dropdown will appear, allowing you to select the vehicle entered in Personal Property. The description of item entered in Personal Property will also populate in the Executory Contracts section during editing. You can add to this description if needed. The debtor's car is now successfully linked across multiple sections in NextChapter.
