Initial Clio <> NextChapter Sync
When you perform your initial sync in NextChapter:
Automatic Case Creation: Your initial sync automatically imports Clio bankruptcy matters into NextChapter as new cases, and NextChapter cases into Clio as new contacts and matters.
Avoid Duplicates: If a case already exists in both platforms, manually link them during your first sync. This connects the records for seamless two-way updates and prevents duplicate creation.
To Link Existing Cases:
Retrieve the Matter ID Number from Clio, which can be found in the Matter URL when you're in the Matter in Clio:
2. Next, click "Connect Existing Cases" in Account Settings > Clio Integration :
3. Enter the Matter ID in the Reference Number field next to the appropriate case, and select OK to connect them across platforms:
