What is a conduit payment and how do I mark a treatment as conduit?

A conduit payment means that the contractual payment on the long-term debt will be made each month to the Trustee for payment to the creditor. Conduit payments are generally made on debt’s that will not be paid in full during the life the plan. 

If a mortgage is marked as “conduit,” the monthly payment is added to the plan payment each month and the debt balance is not included in the total debt being paid through the plan.
