How to Upgrade Your NextChapter Plan

As your firm grows, NextChapter makes it easy to scale your plan. Whether you need a few more cases before the end of your annual term or want to reset your entire annual cycle now, we offer two flexible upgrade options.

Upgrade Options

1. Pro-Rated Upgrade (Standard) This is the default option when selecting a new plan in your Account Settings > Pricing Plans

  • How it works: You pay only the difference between your current plan and the next tier for the remainder of your cycle.

  • Benefit: Get additional cases immediately while keeping your original renewal date.

2. Full Annual Upgrade

  • How it works: You pay the full price of the new plan today.

  • Benefit: Provides a fresh year of your new case limit and resets your annual renewal date to today.

How to Process Your Upgrade

To complete a Pro-Rated Upgrade automatically:

  1. Go to My Account Settings.

  2. Select Pricing Plans.

  3. Choose your new tier.
