All of our Chapter 13 Plans have merge tags that pull information from your case directly into your plan. Each tag has a set of instructions, which describe the logic within the app, so that you can easily understand how this tag is populated. Below is a list of your plan specific tags with their corresponding instructions.
(Hint: These instructions are for the Alabama Middle Plan. If you have a district specific plan, you can search the Help Center for the article related to your plan.)
5.1 [ALMB.506.1]
If there any secured claims where the box is checked for “Subject to 11 U.S.C. § 506 (Cram down)” or any secured claims where the intent is not to surrender and the secured balance is less than the balance on schedule D, insert the paragraphs and table below. If none, check none and omit remainder.
5.2 [ALMB.910.1]
Add any secured claims where the box is checked for “Excluded from 11 U.S.C. § 506 (910 Vehicle)”. If none, check none and omit remainder.
6. [ALMB.Direct.1]
List all claims where the treatment is to pay outside the plan. If none, check none and omit remainder.
7 [ALMB.Conduit.1]
List all mortgage claims where the treatment is to pay conduit and list all unsecured claims where the treatment is “Long-term claim - maintain payments inside the plan”, or “Long-term claim - maintain payments and cure arrearages inside the plan”. If none, check none and omit remainder
8 [ALMB.Arrears.1]
List all arrears claims (secured arrears, mortgage arrears, vehicle arrears, unsecured arrears) where the treatment is to be paid inside the plan. If none, check none and omit remainder.
9 [ALMB.Surrender.1]
List all claims where the intent is to Surrender. If none, check none and omit the remainder.
10 [ALMB.DSO.1]
f there any Domestic Support Obligation claims with the treatment as pay inside the plan, insert the following table. If none, check none and omit remainder.
11 [ALMB.Priority.1]
List any priority claims that are not Domestic Support Obligations. If none, check none and omit remainder.
12 [ALMB.Lease.1]
List lease claims. If the lease’s intent is “Reject” add the lease to 12.1. If the lease’s intent is “assume” add the least to 12.2(a). Do not include arrears on 12.2(a). If the lease’s intent is “assume” and the claim is for arrears, add the lease to 12.2(b). If there are no lease claims, check none at the top and omit the remainder of all of 12 (12, 12.1, 12.2(a) and 12.2(b)). For any remaining section (12.1, 12.2(a), and 12.2(b)), if no claims apply, check the box for none and omit the remainder of that section only.
13 [ALMB.Special.1]
List any unsecured claims with special treatment to pay the claim at a different unsecured percentage than the general plan unsecured percentage. If none, check none and omit remainder.
