When you generate your Chapter 13 plan, certain sections are automatically populated with data pulled directly from your case. This article explains exactly how each part of your plan is filled in, so you know how your case information needs to be entered for it to appear in the correct section of your plan.

§ 2.1 – Plan Length
If the case is below median income, check: [x] 36 months
If the case is above median income, check: [x] 60 months
Monthly payments must continue for the entire applicable commitment period unless all allowed unsecured claims are paid in full in a shorter period of time.
§ 3.3.d – Priority Domestic Support Obligation Arrears List any domestic support obligation claims.
§ 3.4 – Other Priority Claims to be Paid by Trustee
If there are any priority claims that are not domestic support obligation claims, list the claim.
If there are no priority claims, this section will indicate "None."
§ 4.1 – Real Property Claims Secured by Debtor's Principal Residence This section consists of three tables:
If there are any secured mortgage claims attached to the debtor's residential property where the intent is NOT to surrender and the treatment is NOT to pay the mortgage in full through the plan, check the box for section b and add the claim to the table under section b. Do not list arrearage claims as separate claims.
If there are any secured mortgage claims attached to the residential property where the intent is not to surrender and the treatment is to pay the mortgage in full through the plan, check the box for section c and add the claim to the table under section c.
If there are any claims attached to the debtor's residential property where the intent is to avoid, check the box for section d and add the claim to the table under section d.
If there are no claims being added to any of the three tables, this section will indicate "None."
§ 4.2 – Real Property Claims Secured by Property Other Than Debtor's Principal Residence This section consists of three tables:
If there are any secured mortgage claims attached to property that is NOT the debtor's residential property where the intent is NOT to surrender and the treatment is NOT to pay the mortgage in full through the plan, check the box for section b and add the claim to the table under section b. Do not list arrearage claims as separate claims.
If there are any secured mortgage claims attached to property that is NOT the residential property where the intent is not to surrender and the treatment is to pay the mortgage in full through the plan, check the box for section c and add the claim to the table under section c.
If there are any claims attached to property that is NOT the debtor's residential property where the intent is to avoid, check the box for section d and add the claim to the table under section d.
If there are no claims being added to any of the three tables, this section will indicate "None."
§ 4.3 – Personal Property Secured Claims This section consists of four tables:
If there are any secured claims on vehicles where the secured claim is being paid outside the plan but the vehicle arrears are being paid inside the plan, check the box for section b and add the claim to the table under section b.
If there are any secured vehicle claims where the secured balance is the SAME as the balance in Schedule D, where the box for Excluded from 11 U.S.C. § 506 is NOT checked, and the intent is NOT to surrender and the treatment is to pay inside the plan, check the box for section c and add the claim to the table under section c.
If there are any secured claims where the secured balance is the SAME as the balance in Schedule D, where the box for Excluded from 11 U.S.C. § 506 IS checked, and the intent is NOT to surrender and the treatment is to pay inside the plan, check the box for section d and add the claim to the table under section d.
If there are any claims attached to an asset that is not real property where the intent is to avoid, check the box for section e and list the claim in the table under section e.
If there are no claims being added to any of the four tables, this section will indicate "None."
§ 4.4 – Lien Avoidance List any secured lien where the intent is to Avoid. If there are no claims where the intent is to avoid, this section will indicate "None."
§ 5 – Collateral to be Surrendered If there are claims where the intent is to surrender, list the collateral. If there are no claims where the intent is to surrender, this section will indicate "None."
§ 6.2 – Separately Classified Nonpriority Unsecured Claims If there are unsecured claims with special treatment saved to the claim, list the claim. If there are no such claims, this section will indicate "None."
§ 7 – Executory Contracts and Unexpired Leases This section consists of two tables:
If there are any leases where the intent is to reject, check the box for section b and add the claim in the table under that section. Do not list lease arrears as separate claims.
If there are any leases where the intent is to assume, check the box for section c and add the claim in the table under that section. Do not list lease arrears as separate claims.
If there are no claims being added to either table, this section will indicate "None."
