When hiring a Virtual Paralegal to assist with a case that has already been filed this is referred to as Hourly Post-Petition work. Hourly Post-Petition work is for all cases that have already been filed and the attorney is needing assistance with any amendments or other work that comes after the initial filing of a case.
For all hourly work, the paralegal will track their time spent completing the requested work and we will reach out to confirm that tracked work and bill the card you have on file.
When deciding if you should check "Yes" to the question "Has the case been filed?" make sure you are only checking "Yes" if this is a case needing assistance with Post-Petition work.
