When pulling a report through NextChapter, you will see two different charges. One charge will be from our credit report integration partner, Xactus, and then the other charge will be from NextChapter. See below for a complete pricing breakdown:
Individual Report:
NextChapter charge: $18.50
Xactus charge: $22.00 + 3.5% fee and state taxes
Joint Report:
NextChapter charge: $23.75
Xactus charge: $41.75 + 3.5% fee and state taxes
Note: NextChapter will charge the card on file that has been entered in Account Settings > Billing / Credit Card. If you ever update the card on file, then you will need to update the credit card with Xactus as well. Feel free to reach out to our support team at support@nextchapterbk.com to help update your card with Xactus.
If a credit report pull fails, you can retry at no extra cost, because a failed pull is not completed or charged. Once a pull succeeds, resubmitting it follows these rules:
Within 30 days, with no changes to the request: the same report is redelivered at no additional charge.
After 30 days, or with any change to the request (such as correcting debtor information or adding a joint debtor): it is a new pull and the full fee applies.
