After filing a case through NextChapter, we will automatically lock in the Means Test data that aligns with the date of filing. If you visit Client Profile > Filing Information > Version of legal data applied to case, you will see that Date of Filing has been selected.
If you return to the case in the future, after the IRS standards have been updated, the data that was used at the time of filing will remain in place.
If needed, you can change the version of legal data. Select the Current or Prior button. If you are selecting a prior version of legal data, be sure to select the correct date range from the Legal data version date range dropdown menu.
